This course is designed for Chinese as asecond language/foreign language learners who have completed HSK Level 2, andaims to help international students to improve their Chinese proficiency in anall-around way while strengthening communicative competence training. Thecourse covers familiar topics in everyday communication, with the introductionof some colloquial and cultural content as well. The teaching objective of thiscourse is to help students to master near 500 most commonly used words andrelated grammar knowledge, and to practice conversation and communication onthis basis. At the end of the course students can achieve the level between HSK2 and 3 according to Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for InternationalChinese Language Education.
