理论课，2学分，2学时/每周。本课程从大数据分析的角度，讲述全球卫生与健康领域的重点知识。覆盖的知识点既有全球重大慢性疾病相关的疾病负担与健康预期寿命测算、疾病风险预测，也有以新冠肺炎疫情为主线的全球大流行性传染病的防控理论和科研方法。
Lecture, 2 credits, 2 hours per week. Pre-requisites: none. Through the lens of big data, this course coves key areas of global health. The lectures cover both non-communicable diseases and communicable pandemics of global scale. The former includes areas such as global disease burden, healthy life expectancy and disease risk prediction. The latter uses COVID-19 as a key thread to describe disease control theories and scientific research methods.
