本课程旨在帮助学生了解植物的主要生理过程、基本生命活动规律及相关的分子调控机制。其内容涵盖植物生理学的主要主题，包括植物水分吸收与运输、矿物质营养、植物能量代谢与光合作用、激素与植物生长发育、植物与环境相互作用、光形态建成与光周期、生殖等内容。植物生理学实验课（BIO209）同期进行。
This course helps students understand how plants work, involving the basic physiological processes and the underlying molecular mechanisms. The topics cover plant water relations, mineral nutrients, plant photosynthesis and bioenergetics, hormone and plant growth, plant response to different environmental factors, photomorphogenesis and photoperiod, reproduction，etc. Concurrently scheduled with laboratory course BIO209.
