Medical Image Processing is one of the core courses for Biomedical Engineering. This course covers a wide array of topics, including image sampling and quantization，image enhancement, frequency transformation, image registration, image restoration, image segmentation, image compression and deep learning. Emphasis is to help students understand the fundamental concepts of digital images and master the basic processing methods. Students will get known about the features of medical images and the standards. Finally, students will experience the typical processing of medical images via experiments and projects.
