本课程的目的是为学生提供关于无机化学中原子轨道、简单成键理论，分子对称性，点群及其在化学中的应用，分子轨道理论，固体结构和主族化学简单介绍。主要内容集中在点群及其在化学中的应用和分子轨道理论这两方面。
The aim of this course is to provide a comprehensive and contemporary introduction to the diverse and fascinating discipline of inorganic chemistry by providing the topics on atomic orbitals, simple bonding theory and molecular orbital theory, molecular symmetry, point group and its application in chemistry, introduction to solid-state structures and main group chemistry.
