ElementaryChinese II (EC II) course is the continuation of Elementary Chinese I forChinese learners with HSK level 1 proficiency level. It covers HSK level 2 required Pinyin, words,Chinese characters and grammar points. Through studying, students can achievethe level 2 standard of Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards forInternational Chinese Language Education. The course is learner-centred,with a focus on the integrated language skills of listening, speaking, reading,and writing. The aims are to help students comprehensively understand and master the basics of Chinese and to provide a sound foundationfor further Chinese study.
