海洋工程监测技术

Lecture, 3 credits, 3 hours per week. This course systematically introduces the knowledge of monitoring technology、types of sensor and arrangement、data collection and analysis method involved in Ocean Engineering. It also covers the knowledge of non-destructive testing and acoustic emission technologies. This course enables students to understand and master the general law of Ocean Engineering monitoring technology, and have a comprehensive understanding of a big variety of sensors. It makes the students master the basic principles and methods of sensor application and layout and cultivate the ability of arranging sensing network and analyzing measured data and lays the preliminary foundation for students engaging in engineering investigation and construction. Finally, with the background of the vigorous use of ocean energy and the development of ocean mining, this course enables students understand the necessity and applications of marine geo-structure monitoring technology.
