本课程旨在对学生进行知识产权教育，并在今后的职业生涯能通过专利等方式保护自己的知识产权。本课程包括如下内容：1、了解中美两国的专利制度；2、发明的构思；3、现有技术的检索；4、专利申请的绘图与撰写；5、科学与工程类专利申请的递交。
This course is aimed to empower the students with the capability to protect their own IP using patents and other means in their future professional career. It includes the following sections: 1. the patent basics in China and the U.S.; 2. invention; 3. searching; 4. drawings and specification; 5.filing of patent application of science and engineering.
