通过对本课程的学习，使学生能够了解和掌握如下几个方面：对微生物的历史与现状有初步了解；了解微生物的基本结构和特性；了解微生物的生长和代谢途径；了解微生物的分子生物学和遗传学特性；了解微生物与生态环境和人类的关系。


This course aims to introduce the history and development of Microbiology, the fundamentals of identification, structure, physiology, and genetics of microorganisms. The contents of this course will also help students to understand importance of microorganisms in human health, food industry, the environment, and in biotechnology.
