Lecture, 2 credits, 2 hours per week. Prerequisite: NA. In this course, students will sharpen their English listening and speaking skills by reviewing, analyzing and finally creating their own podcasts. By the end of the course, students should be able to turn podcasts into authentic learning materials for both language improvement and culture enhancement. Through creating their own podcasts, students will not only be language learners but more importantly also be language users. The ultimate goal of this course is to help students master a lifelong skill for conducting independent learning of the English language and culture.
