Lecture, 2 credits, 2 hours per week. Pre-requisites: students who have completed "CLE050 Elemantary Japanese" or have some basic knowledge of elementary Japanese. This course is designed for students who have some previous knowledge of Japanese and aim at moving to the next level. It continues the previous level that starts from the basics of Japanese. This course will refine the language skills acquired in the previous course and further develop writing, listening, reading, speaking and translation skills. Students will develop ability of acquiring basic information of subject knowledge using Japanese as a medium. By the end of this course, students will be able to learn around 1000 vocabulary and 50 sentences for simple daily communication and achieve level 3 in Japanese proficiency test.
