This course is the majorcore course of mechanical engineering. Based on mechanical manufacturing, the course providesa practice platform for students majoring in mechanical engineering.Effectively and comprehensively apply the knowledge about advancedmanufacturing learned in class to solve practical problems. Train students'ability to define, analyze and solve engineering problems. The project is carried outin groups. The team completes the production of the products, realizes theexpected functions, and submits the project report. The project shall cover thefollowing aspects: 1. Machine parts based on the theory of precision; 2.Evaluation of mechanical and physical properties of products; 3. Simulation ofcutting process; 4. Machining of difficult-to cut material; 5. Machining ofparts with limit size / precision; 6. Three dimensional measurement and reverseengineering.
