This English language learning course aims to provideSTEM (Science, technology, engineer and math) students with disciplinaryacademic English reading and writing training. By the end of the semester,students are expected to develop a better understanding of the disciplinaryliteracy in science, and have a better acquisition of reading and writingskills in academic English. Besides, this course also focuses on trainingstudents to learn the process of writing multi-genre science papers, such aslab report, journal articles, and research proposals.
