This course introduces the students to the field ofbiomechanics in a multi-scale manner: from molecules to the entire organism.This course systematically reveals how to use mathematical models for theanalysis and prediction of biomechanical phenomena in biological systems suchas the cell, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, as well as in humanmovement. In addition, the application of biomechanics in the relevant clinicaland biomedical engineering applications will be discussed. This course utilizesproblem-based learning that integrate mathematics, physics and biology in orderto train the student in solving real-world problems.
