This course introduces fundamentals and methods of synthesis design of aircraft, which are applied for the design of aeromodelling aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and passenger airplanes. The contents include design requirements, weight estimation, analysis of wing loading, analysis of power/thrust ratio, analysis of aircraft configurations, fuselage design, wing and powerplant design and integration, empennage and undercarriage design and integration, etc.
