This course helps the students to know the roles of epigenetic modifications in distinct biological contexts and better understand the importance of epigenetics in health management. The course will also introduce and explain epigenetic effects towards the onset of various diseases from many perspectives. In addition, the course also delivers basic and most recent progress in the field of medical epigenetics research and its clinical application. By completion of this course, the students will get a sense of epigenetics research and enhances their abilities of critical thinking and troubleshooting, and the students will be better prepared for their final year project and future work in clinical research.
