Surgery Ⅰ is the teaching of various theories. On the basis of mastering the basic theory of surgery, the basic concept of surgery and the basic technical operation of surgery, students learn and master the etiology, occurrence and development law, pathology, clinical manifestations, systematic examination, diagnostic points, differential diagnosis, prevention and treatment principles, surgical indications and other external scientific knowledge of general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. The key contents of surgery include: common surgical diseases, introduction of their causes, pathology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, prevention and treatment, surgical indications and common surgical principles; the learning difficulty of this course is the combination of basic and clinical, students should grasp the key points on the basis of comprehensive understanding of its contents, so as to apply it to clinical practice.The teaching process of surgical theories includes classroom teaching, self-study, probation and practice. The teaching content should integrate theory with practice, focus on common diseases, frequently occurring diseases and endemic diseases, implement the policy of prevention first, properly introduce the new achievements of medicine at home and abroad, and pay attention to the combination of basic and clinical. Teachers should give a thorough account of what they want to master. Students should deeply understand their basic knowledge or theory so as to apply it to clinical practice. Students should grasp the key points on the basis of comprehensive understanding of the content. Students have a general understanding of the content of “understanding“. In view of the limited total class hours, it is also necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students' self-study ability. Some chapters are arranged as self-study contents, requiring students to study seriously, and teachers give guidance and answer questions on the self-study contents.Through multimedia theory teaching and clinical probation, students can further understand and consolidate the content of classroom teaching. Through clinical teaching, students are trained to master the ability of general surgery, thoracic and cardiac surgery history collection, physical examination, understanding and judging the condition. Students understand the common operation methods by watching the operation video and other multimedia methods.
