The purpose of this course is to train students to master atom arrangement in crystal structure, material processing techniques, tensile test, impact test, hardness measurement, electrochemical properties measurement and construction of binary phase diagram. Through these experiments, students can understand structure, mechanical properties, material processing techniques and their relationship, and master data processing and write a lab report. This will lay a solid foundation for students to understand the most basic experimental skills for materials science.
