本课程是海洋科学本科生的专业选修课。主要讲述古地磁学和环境磁学基本知识。介绍地磁学在地质构造演化、地球内部动力学过程、古气候与环境重建、环境污染检测等多方面的应用。
This course is designed for all the undergraduate students majoring in ocean science. This course introduces basic theories of paleomagnetism and environmental magnetism. Typically, the course will introduce the application of paleomagnetism in tectonic evolution, the Earth’s interior dynamic processes, paleoclimate, pollution, etc.
