理论课，2学分。本课程希望学生通过一个学期的学习获得三方面的技能：（1）通过粤语拼音掌握粤语的语音特点和发音技巧；（2）提升日常粤语交际的能力，能较熟练地用粤语进行日常交际。（3）了解粤文化的一些基础知识，提升自身的人文素养。
Theory course, 2 credits. In this course, students are expected to acquire three skills through one semester's learning: (1) master the phonetic characteristics and pronunciation skills of Cantonese through Cantonese Pinyin; (2) improve the ability of daily communication in Cantonese, and be more proficient in daily communication in Cantonese. (3) Understand some basic knowledge of Cantonese culture to enhance their own humanistic literacy.
