Designing for themselves, the students will investigate in detail thedesign opportunities in daily life and actions. Students will findopportunities in their personal life for an object-based design interventionthat improves life. The class will engage students in developing concepts andskills into objects for their own world, progressing from outline specificationthrough design development to product evaluation. The course may includefield trips or activities outside classroom.
