This course provides the rigorous introduction to the process in global climate change. The goal of the course is to provide students with an introductory overview of the broad factors that determine global climate change. Initial focus is on recent and future climate change. Remainder of course will emphasize the study of the forcing (e.g., human activity, greenhouse gases, and orbital changes) and feedbacks (e.g., biogeochemical and bio geophysical process) that produce the environment in which we live.
