本课程将有助于学生从世界史的大视野理解亚洲的历史变迁，探讨亚洲从世界的中心变为边缘到再回中心的地位变化及其动力机制，从而增强从世界和亚洲、过去和现在两种维度理解我们所处的时代和世界的能力。通过学习融汇了环境史、海洋史内容的亚洲历史，有助于学生打通文科和理科的知识和学科分野，积累具有历史底蕴的通识学识，进而形成采用交叉学科方法理解世界和亚洲以及预测其未来的能力。
This course will help students understand the change of Asian historyfrom the perspective of world history. Based on understanding the reorientationof global economy, students will improve their ability to comprehend our worldand times from the multiple spatiotemporal dimensions. Studying Asian historyintegrating environmental history and maritime history, students will acrossthe disciplinary boundaries of humanity and science, accumulate the generalknowledge with historical consciousness, and further develop the ability tounderstand our world and Asia and predict their future from theinterdisciplinary and global perspective.
