The aim of this course is to train physicians. The first part of this course explains a set of activity patterns and physiological functions of living organisms in cells, tissues and organs. As a bridging course between basic medicine and clinical medicine, the second part focuses on the functions of abnormal states; specifically, the functional changes that accompany a particular syndrome or disease, and the mechanisms underlying these changes.
