This course starts from the modern medical model and sane healthy concept. and then focuses on social determinants of health, the common methods and techniques in social medicine research. Based on the main basic social medicine knowledge, it then introduces respectively the focal points and difficulties of social medicine during the national health system reform and the establishment of a healthy China society, such as social health status, health policy, health care system, community health services, and chronic non-infectious diseases management, and so on.
