The Advances in Tropical Disease Research is designed for graduate students in medicine and related majors, focusing on the outbreak and epidemic of Tropical Diseases. By introducing the types, transmission, pathogenic mechanisms of tropical diseases, the characteristics and difficulties in prevention and treatment as well as the current research progress and future development trends in tropical disease research, the students are expected to establish the basic impression of tropical diseases, understand the pathogenic mechanism of related diseases,  grasp the direction of future research as well as the emergent needs of the field, which will lay a theoretical foundation for a potential scientific research career.
