本课程从病毒学的发展历史出发，结合重大病毒流行性疾病的典型案例，讲述病毒学的基本原理和概念，并在此基础上介绍疾病预防方面的前沿进展，包括抗病毒药物、疫苗的研发等。
This course starts from the history of virology, then takes the important viral epidemic diseases as examples to explain the principles of virology. Further, it introduces the development of modern strategies against viral-associated diseases, including anti-viral drugs and vaccines.
