基础西班牙语（进阶）

Lecture, 2 credits, 2 hours per week. Pre-requisites: students who have completed "CLE048 Elementary Spanish" or have some previous knowledge of elementary Spanish. This course is aimed at students with basic knowledge of the language. The objective of the course is to build upon the skills acquired in the previous course and add new skills that will enable students to deal with more challenging information and situations. The course covers a range of everyday topics and situations and ensures a balance between the four core areas of linguistics (speaking, listening, reading and writing). In addition, it will reinforce key grammar points, vocabulary and pronunciation appropriate for the higher level. This course will refine the language skills acquired in the previous course and further develop written, listening, reading, and oral skills. The students will practice using complex grammatical structures and extensive vocabulary. Throughout the course, the students will also continue learning about the culture, history and geography of the Spanish-speaking world.
