Studentsgain an initial understanding of the design and production processes within theindustry by participating in internships at relevant companies. Through thishands-on experience, students shouldgradually understand the roles and responsibilities of designers in the company. The students should acquire the basic skills of design practice and be able to communicate with the industrialsupervisors to accomplish the goals set up the agreement between the studentsand the company. The students should develop a comprehensive and structuredinsight into the specific industrial domain through their internship practice.
