围术期医学是一门新兴学科，是综合麻醉学、外科学、康复医学、心理学和其它学科形成的临床交叉学科，旨在促进外科手术患者的安全、平稳、快速的康复过程。围术期医学课程面向医学院和生物医学专业的本科生和研究生，将帮助学生了解围术期医学，掌握围术期医学的基本概念、理论及方法，提高学生的临床专业知识水平和解决临床问题的能力，为学生进入临床实习阶段后快速融入医院工作奠定良好的基础。
Perioperative Medicineis a novel discipline in rapid development, which is an interdisciplinarybranch involving anesthesiology, surgery, rehabilitation medicine, psychologyand other disciplines, aiming to promote the safety and quality of the surgeryand rehabilitation. The course is for medical and biological students, to helpthem understand the basic principle and theory of perioperative medicine, improvingtheir clinical capability as well as their knowledge.
