MATLAB is a commercial mathematics software developed by MathWorks in the United States. It mainly faces a high-tech computing environment of scientific computing, visualization and interactive programming. It integrates many powerful functions, such as numerical analysis, matrix calculation, scientific data visualization, and nonlinear dynamic system modeling and simulation, in an easy-to-use window environment, and is used for scientific research, engineering design, and many sciences that must carry out effective numerical calculations. The content of this course includes: arithmetic symbols, data types, vector operations, data input and output, loop statements, script commands and functions, special data structures, special functions, plotting and graphic commands, object-oriented programming, and graphical user interfaces. This course will introduce the basic concepts, methods, tricks and common misunderstandings in MATLAB, and lay a foundation for students to use MATLAB in the fields of scientific computing, data analysis, simulation modeling and so on.
