Macromolecule drugs include protein based pharmaceuticals/vaccines,DNA/RNA pharmaceuticals/vaccines and carbohydrate basedpharmaceuticals/vaccines. This course will introduce history, current uses andfuture research/development of macromolecule drugs, cell therapy, gene therapy andwill let students gain deep understanding of macromolecule based medicine, andprepare them for the development and use of this fast growing field ofpharmaceuticals/vaccines in China.
