The Medical Parasitology helps the students to understand the morphological structure of parasites related to human diseases; the laws of growth, development and reproduction and the interaction with human body; the occurrence and development of parasitic diseases; the pathogenesis, diagnostic methods, epidemic rules and prevention principles of parasitic diseases. It is a basic subject of preventive medicine and clinical medicine, closely related to biology, pathology, immunology, molecular biology and pharmacology.
