The aim of this course is to introduce Physics and Properties of Semiconductors，Device Building Blocks，Transistors，Power Devices，LEDs and Lasers，Photodetectors and Solar Cells. The experiment part includes applying simulation tools to construct conventional device structures, such as diodes, BJT and MOS transistors, and applying simulation tools to analyze the electrical characteristics of the devices, including output characteristic, breakdown, snapback , and etc.
