The course is to lead students to understand human beings and the progress of civilization through the context of architecture, and to cultivate aesthetic abilities and perspectives. Through a series of lectures on the topics of architecture and culture, it helps students to establish critical thinking habit; through the systematic study of cultural changes and architectural movements, students can broaden their humanistic vision and cultivate diverse values; through lectures and classroom exercises, students will become familiar with basic architectural design vocabulary and architectural expression skills.
