Based on the students’ previous knowledge in analytical chemistry, this course aims to teach them about the analytical methods and instruments for complex analytes, mainly including sample preparation, instrumental analysis and data analysis. Related instrumental analysis includes gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, atomic absorption and atomic emission spectrometry, mass spectrometry and NMR. By learning this course, the students will have comprehensive understanding and knowledge for the analysis principle and practical application for complex analytes. The students are expected to master the basic principles of the instruments and familiar with related application objects.
