Animal models are important experimental methods for modern biomedicalresearch to understand the objective laws of life science, interpret themechanism of disease occurrence and development, and explore and verifytreatment methods. This course is dedicated to cultivating students (1) to masterthe concepts, meanings, designation principles, influencing factors andprecautions of animal models of human diseases; (2) to be familiar with thesignificance, role and animal ethics of animal experiments; (3) to understand representativeanimal models of several major human diseases such as cancers, immunity andcardiovascular diseases, and to master the design methods of animal modelexperiments and the collection and analysis of experimental results, and to laya solid foundation for subsequent medical-related research.
