This course willintroduce you to the historical development of industrial design, with aparticular focus on the social, material, economic and cultural contexts ofdesign innovation and development. A significant part of the course isdedicated to the critical analysis of contemporary theories and developments indesign, enabling you to develop and present personal visions of the future ofdesign. Skills developed in this course include critical reading, literatureresearch and basic theory application.
