This course examines the development of narratives, the role ofnarrative and storytelling in design, and how cognition is related tonarrative. The course provides both theoretical and practical knowledge innarrative creation to help students tell stories, communicate information, andcreate meanings for their design projects. Students will learn how narrativesare conceptualized, constructed, and built into design projects of variousformats, including but not limited to objects, film, services, interactivemedia, environments etc. Students will learn to identify and analyze narrativesin a variety of design case studies.Skills: analysisand development of design narratives
