This courseintroduces students to research as an integral part of designing. Studentslearn to apply a variety of research methods as part of the design process,covering the spectrum of research for design, research about design andresearch through design. Students develop a self-defined research project byidentifying research goals, selecting suitable research methods and planningthe research process. At the end of the course, students present their researchproject planning along with research results obtained from implementing theirresearch projects. In their final presentation, students analyze and criticallyevaluate their research results.
