Flexible electronics is an emerging electronic technology thatmanufactures organic/inorganic thin-film electronic devices on flexible plasticor thin metal substrates. Due to its unique flexibility, ductility, andhigh-efficiency, low-cost manufacturing process, it has potential applicationsin the fields of information, energy, medical care, and national defense. Theobjectives of this course is to enable students to understand the latest trendof the development and application of flexible and wearable electronic devices, master the design and fabrication principle of flexible electronics, understandthe basic working principle of related devices and the fabrication techniquesfor the functional materials, improve students' sense of innovative thinking, and cultivate students' engineering analysis and design capabilities. Throughthe teaching of this course, graduate students can master the key technologiesin non-traditional manufacturing fields, especially in the field of flexibleelectronics fabrication, and lay a certain foundation for the improvement anddevelopment of professional ability in subsequent work.
