This course starts with discussions of the external loads on airplanes, the basics of elasticity and energy methods. Then it covers the analysis of bar, beam and thin shell structures under tension, torsion and bending loads, and the instability analysis. Finally, it addresses the failure theories and their applications in structural analysis.
