Lab, 1 credit, 2 hours per week. Pre-requisites: NA.Each student selects a professor as course supervisor from SDIM, joins in the research group of the supervisor, and participates in a research project suggested by the supervisor. Through the training of this course, students are expected to build up motivations and acquire basic knowledge required for scientific research, and to cultivate self-learning and critical thinking skills. At the same time, students are expected to contact with the world's cutting-edge science and technology, learn knowledge and understand advanced scientific research instruments, so as to lay a solid foundation for future graduate degree studies or R&D work.
