Developmental and Cellular Neurobiology is an advanced biology coursedesigned for first-year graduate students. The overall goal of this course isto help students understand the fundamental cellular principles governing thestructure, organization, development, function, and related diseases of nervoussystem. In addition to lectures given by the instructor, the students have theopportunity to contact the frontier research by reading, presenting anddiscussing the most recent scientific papers in top journals. In this course,the students can learn the basic principles, methods and ideas for modernneuroscience. They can also improve the skills for scientific presentation andcommunication in neuroscience.
