理论课，4学分，4学时/每周。先修课程：医学有机化学（MED105）。本课程从介绍生物化学开始，讲述生物大分子的结构与功能、物质代谢基本规律、血液和肝脏生化等理论知识，探讨生命、健康与疾病过程中的化学反应及其调控等本质规律。上述理论知识及相关思维方法和研究方法等，是后续医学课程学习及未来临床和研究工作中的重要基础。
Lecture, 4 credits, 4 hours per week. Pre-requisites:Medical Organic Chemistry, MED105. Starting from introduction to biochemistry, this course explicates the structure and function of biomacromolecules, principles of substance metabolism, and blood and liver biochemistry, focusing on the chemical reactions and their regulation in life, health, and disease. On top of providing biochemical theories and knowledge, the course also discusses thinking methods and research approaches. All these will lay the foundation for future clinical practice and scientific research.
