The main purpose of this course is to make students understand and preliminarily master the etiological mechanism, examination and diagnosis, treatment principles, treatment methods and preventive measures of oral and maxillofacial diseases such as oral and maxillofacial anatomy and physiology, common dental periodontal tissues, oral mucosal diseases, oral local anesthesia and tooth extraction, oral and maxillofacial injuries and infections, salivary gland diseases, temporomandibular joint diseases, common oral and maxillofacial tumors through teaching links such as lectures, clinical teaching, probation, discussion and examinations, and master the basic knowledge and simple treatment skills of common dental diseases. Efforts should be made to cultivate students' all-round clinical disease analysis and diagnosis and treatment ability, and lay a solid theoretical foundation for students to enter clinical practice and future clinical practice.
