By introducing the current popular researching fields of Wind and Ocean Energy（WOE) to students, they can have a fundamental knowledge of the development of the professional fields. Besides, students can get in touch with the researching directions of early and deepen their understanding of the major. This course is a practical one, according to the number of students, every semester will provide students with several subjects focusing on different researching fields. Different subjects involve different scientific research methods, such as CFD numerical simulation, pure physical experiment, data analysis, computer programming, etc. By conducting a complete project, students can learn the methods of scientific experimental research and the usage of relevant scientific tools. And most importantly, this course can cultivate students’ experimental thinking mode. The study of this course will set a solid foundation for the students who will engage in related work and scientific research.
