Earth System History is a basic course for undergraduate students of the Department of Ocean Science and Engineering. Students should have a general background in physics, chemistry, and earth sciences. This course helps students to gain systematic knowledge about the formation of the Earth, its internal structure, ocean, atmosphere, ecosystem, and evolution of life. Students will have a holistic view of the interactions between different Earth systems.
