"Anatomy and Physiology" is a course that helps students to gain a general understanding the human body structure (anatomy) and function (physiology). Through this course, the students will learn the major organization of the human organism at different levels from the cells, to tissues, to organ systems, and finally to the whole human body. The course will also help students to understand physiological functions of the human body and its inherent regulations. The course aims to enable students to integrate the anatomy knowledge with physiological phenomena to explain the intricate interactions and life activities, and finally to provide a basis for subsequent courses in biomedical engineering.
