本课程是为零基础中文学习者设计的入门级语言课程。课程从基本语音要素-声韵母开始，进而介绍声韵母拼合、声调以及变调规则。在此基础上学习偏旁部首、汉字，再以语法结构为指导，学习生词和句型，带领学生进行汉语会话。课程以学生为中心，注重培养学生的听说读写综合运用能力，帮助学生全面掌握中文基础知识，为今后的中文学习打下坚实基础。
This course is thebeginning course for learners of Chinese without systematic Chinese learningexperience. It starts with the basic phoneticknowledge, i.e. initials, finals, tones and syllabicstructures, then moves to radicals, characters, newwords, sentence patterns, etc. The course is learner-centered, with afocus on the Integrated language skills of listening, speaking, reading, andwriting. The aims are to help students comprehensively understand and master the basics of Chinese and lay a sound foundation forfurther Chinese study.
